Prologue

Being a hybrid cellist is questioning what it means to be a cellist, is entering into a dialogue with existing repertoire, is suggesting reflections, is embracing our cultural heritage, is criticizing our cultural heritage, is revealing new insights, is being inspired by other artists, is loving the tactility of vinyl records, is spending too much money on electronics, is enjoying the smell of fresh ground coffee, is ... buying flowers for the visual artist you love.

As a cellist, composer, and researcher I experiment with sound and concepts. I aim for a new panoramic horizon that arises from electro-acoustic experiments, preferably in co-creation with other warmhearted artists.
